The Grand National
The English Grand National is one of the world's most prestigious horse races. Each year 40 horses line-up to tackle the awesome Aintree course. Four and a half miles over thirty fences - the Grand National is arguably the hardest test of horse and jockey in the world. Crowds of up to 40,000 people attended Aintree’s three meetings every year.
