£40 million investment
Rovacabin and Eventlink acquired
Wernick Event Hire is delighted to announce the acquisition of Rovacabin and Eventlink from the Harsco Group of Companies. The acquisition was completed on the 1st June 2011.
Rovacabin has a fleet of 4000 cabins and modular buildings which have been added to the existing fleet of the 24,000 buildings within the Wernick Hire fleet.
Eventlink is a company which specialises in the provision of temporary seating for the Event industry and with its 36,000 seats is the second largest provider in the UK.
This acquisition brings the total investment by Wernick in new fleet and freehold depots to over £40 million in the last 18 months and consolidates its position in the top three within the markets that it operates in.
David Wernick, the Chief Executive of Wernick Group said,

Wernick Event Hire will be supplying the Polocrosse World Cup to be held from 8th - 17th July at Onley Grounds Equestrian Centre, near Rugby Warwickshire.
2011 marks the third Polocrosse World Cup event; the first two being held in 2004 and 2007 at venues in Australia.
The tournament takes place every four years.
This is the first time this prestigious event has been held in the UK.
Wernick Event Hire has secured a deal with the annual CLA Game Fair, the worlds leading country sports event.
The event attracts more than 14,000 visitors and features hunting, fishing, gundog and falconry shows, amongst many other countryside activities.
The dates for the 2011 event are Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th July; the venue is Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire.
Wernick’s agreement with the CLA Game Fair organizers runs until the 2015 event.
Wernick Event Hire has secured a three year deal with The New Wine Trust, a movement of churches working together through a network of summer conferences and training events.
Wernick are supplying their conference at Newark Showground, Nottingham from
30th July -5th August 2011.
Scouting and Girlguiding’s 2012 Essex International Jamboree for will be supplied by Wernick Event Hire.
Dates are 18th – 25th August.
